Music

I've been trying to listen to up beat-ish music instead of those slow, boring (as people would call it) music like Bon Iver and so far, the Shins "Simple Song" is at the top of my list. I like the beat and also the words to it, especially the chorus.

The next song I like is Flathead by Fratellis. I like bands that harmonize with each other like this band, and also Marianas Trench and Good for Grapes. Also, the music video is very.... interesting; although sometimes I don't like watching it because it makes me feel so insecure.

My last song that I love listening to right now is Hello by Martin Solveig ft. Dragonette. That song just makes me want to get up and dance and I don't even like to dance! Whenever I walk home and I'm listening to this song, I bob my head up and down which makes me look like a fool but oh well! The music video reminds me of my childhood when I would sometimes watch tennis with my dad.

Phew...

For familiy studies, we have to do a project and the topic is about relationships. I didn't want to make a scrapbook or a powerpoint (powerpoints lame) so I decided to make a website. I just finished right now and I have to say, I really do like the website I made. All I have to do is proof-read it and do a bit of finishing touches and then I'm all done! But I'll do that tomorrow though... I had to finish the project tomorrow (well today) but the offical dead-line is on thrusday, so yay, I'm ahead of schedule-- that's a first.

Here's my website.

Tired

This week went by very slowly and I am so glad that it's the weekend.I've had so many things in my mind but then again, I do over-think things and think about negative thoughts regularily.
Now, my lips are chapped from talking with Toren for hours, talking about life in general. Oh well, I'm glad we had that talk; it feels like a lot of weight have been lifted up from my shoulders. But we were fatties, eating KFC (my lent isn't really working out), drinking Starbuck's beverages and then getting two bags of Jolly Ranchers at Shoppers.

Aha. Aha. Aha.

So today, Toren and I saw The Women in Black and I died a little. I was so tense during the whole movie and was ripping Toren's sweater from holding on to it too tight. I thought it was a good horror movie although I do get scared easily but overall, I really like the movie. It was probably because Daniel Radcliffe was in it though. And I'm pretty sure me and Toren were the only people freaking out the whole time. Kinda sad... but oh well!

And then I almost drowned when we went swimming because Toren kept making me laugh when we went swimming. He was either being stupid like always or maybe it was because I was really, really, really hyper. And he wouldn't stop splashing me with water at my face. But today was a good day. :)

Also, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY, VICTOR!! I've been telling you this so many times that it's probably annoying now, but hey, is okay! You have no idea how happy I am to be with you. Don't believe me? Well you should! :-p

Good for Grapes

The first time I heard them was when I went to the Battle of the Bands at the Rio theatre and I loved them ever since. The lead singer (Daniel McBurnie) used to go to the same school as Gaily and I thought that was cool and Chelsea loves Alexa that she even asked for her autograph.
Although here's a tip: never go to their concert with me because I don't exactly act like myself; it's kinda embarassing I have to admit. But I cannot wait until I go to their next performance!

You are so sweet. You have no idea how much you've made my day, seriously. I loved all of it. Thank you for everything :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Ugh, you are the best. I seriously could not live if you were never here right by my side during times like these. You are the best thing that has even happened to me. I love you, junk food, you are the best. <3

Killing Softly 4

The other day at school, the teachers showed us this video during my Family Studies class. The first few minutes watching this, I was ready do fall asleep but then it got interesting. I recommend you watching this but if it's not your type of video, you don't need to. I just think that this video needs to be shown to every girl who is insecure about themselves that even models aren't who they really are.

PART 1/2

PART 2/2

January 27, 2012

So I am actually liking my weekend so far... I've been hanging out with Toren the whole day. We went to Cypress mountain and we both snowboarded for five-ish hours. It was really fun because we went to the intermediate runs that I thought would never be doing but hey, me and Toren did. But I got stuck at a snow bank and it was really embarassing... But HEY! It's okay! By the end of the day, my thighs were so tired and I had a short sugar rush in the car because I had vitamin water -- somehow, vitamin water makes me really hyper.
We went to Toren's house to eat dinner: burgers YUM! Then watched a part of Free Willy but we weren't really payin attention. Toren was on facebook and I was playing Brick Breaker on my phone. I've gotten addicted to that game now but I try not to play it in public because I start talking about the weirdest things and when I lose, I freak out. It's not a pretty picture.
Toren, when we were up at the mountain, suggest that we go to the hot tub at the Fleetwood pool so after pigging out on out burgers and watching a depressed orca, we went to our local pool. Like Toren said, we went to the hot tub but only for about fifteen minutes. We went to the deep end and since I can't really swim, Toren gave me a floaty thingy to keep me up but we eventually found a mini boat we both could sit in. While at the deep end, we talked and talked and talked about a few personal things. It's nice to talk to someone about things that have been stuck in your head for a while. We started to get really cold so we went back to the hot tub and swam around in the normal pool, not the pool with the swimming lanes. By the time we knew it, it was already ten o'clock and everything was closing.
I have to say, I'm going to pass out on my bed now.

I skipped last block (family studies) because I felt like it...and also because I have to do  test and an assignment that I didn't finish in that class. Anyways, isntead, I made White Russian cupcakes. They are really good but I'm pretty sure I added too much vodka so it's kind of bitter. Oh well!

Toren and I were really bored after school and after just sitting there doing nothing, I decided to do something since I didn't want to spend the rest of my day at home. Stupid of me, I decided that we both should do the cinnamon challenge... I don't even know why. We went to the feild behind Toren's house and did the challenge there. I have to admit, I was kind of scared but I did it! I actually swallowed all of the cinnamon, which was about a teaspoonfull. We even made a video but it's on Toren's laptop. At least now, I can say that I have done the cinnamon challenge and succeeded.

Ahahahaha Toren being stupid..
Then after, we decided to go biking down the gas pipeline which goes downhill but when you come back home, you have to bike uphill. Biking both ways was a pain! It was cold going down the hill and coming back home, we had to bike up hill! When we finally arrived at my house, we were so numb from the coldness. You know that feeling with you start burning because of the quick change of the temperature from the coldness to the hotness? Well that's what we had for about fourty-five minutes. And also tonight, you could see the new moon and Mars (the star below the moon). I thought it was pretty cool.
After watching Jersey Shore (I know, we're lame like that), we went to Save On Foods and bought a miniature cake -- I got a triple chocolate cake and Toren got a Brownie cake -- a doughnut for the each of us and Arizona. Then we went to his house to chill and eat for a while. All in all, I had a pretty fun day/night, great way to start off my long weekend! Tomorrow, I'm going snowboarding with Toren, hopefully. :)

For people who do not know  the band Of Monsters and Men, I highly recommend you check them out! Here's one of their songs called Little Talks:

I just found them out today and I automatically fell in love with the band! Although, I think they should change the name of their band because it sounds like the band Of Mice and Men. Oh well, they still sound amazing.

And also, I'm talking to Toren if it's possible for a guy to have sex with a headless penis. Would he feel pleasure while having intercourse? Can a guy actually have a headless dick? Will the girl orgasm? Will it be painful for the girl or not?

Anywaysgoodnight.
